Casino revenue rises 22 pct in March

Macau’s casinos posted 22.2 percent gross revenue growth last month, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) announced yesterday.

According to Reuters, analysts had expected a growth of 13 percent to 18 percent.

Last month’s gross revenue from games of chance reached 25.95 billion patacas, the second-highest figure this year, after January’s 26.26 billion patacas.
