The name of the restaurant says it all. The philosophy of the Zen by Maquette café is about balance and eating healthy.

Zen is a school of Mahayana Buddhism that was introduced to Japan from China in the 12th century. The word “zen” translates to “meditation”, and in the English-speaking world, it has a meaning of peacefulness and relaxation.

Being located at the foot of Small Taipa Hill next to Pou Tai Un Temple, Zen café offers urbanites a healthy eating option in a relaxed environment.
