A scooter rider was hit by a window falling from the 10th floor of a building in Zape yesterday afternoon.
According to a Public Security Police (PSP) spokesperson, the incident took place at around 2 p.m. in Avenida Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues. While the scooter rider was on his way to the Oriental Arch roundabout, an aluminium-framed window suddenly fell onto his right shoulder. The injured rider stopped and then reported the case to the police himself before he was transferred to the public Conde de S. Januario Hospital Centre for treatment.
Local Chinese-language media reports said that the window fell from a flat on the 10th floor of the Millionaire Garden Building.
