It’s literally time to do afternoon tea like a queen with Swiss watchmaker Breguet collaborating with The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge at Galaxy integrated resort.
Founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1775 and known for its innovation of launching the first self-winding watch, the gong spring and the tourbillon, the luxury watch brand is loved by queens Marie-Antoinette of France, Victoria of Great Britain and Ireland, and Queen of Naples Caroline Murat, the younger sister of Napoleon, who got Breguet to design the world’s first known wristwatch, which later became the inspiration for the brand’s renowned Reine de Naples (Queen of Naples) collection.
To honour Breguet’s 244-year heritage, The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge on the 51st floor of the hotel has designed an afternoon tea set featuring classic French treats and some of Marie-Antoinette’s favourites such as macarons.
