Gaming operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho Yau Lung said on Friday that the opening of his company’s Morpheus resort hotel, Phase 3 of the City of Dreams, was the opening of a “new chapter” in Macau, adding that it would be “an icon for Asia”.
Ho made the remarks during a press conference at City of Dreams prior to the opening ceremony of the US$1.1 billion hotel on Friday.
According to Melco, the hotel has a total of 772 guestrooms, suites and so-called villas.
