Estrada Governador Nobre de Carvalho in Taipa will become a one-way street starting tomorrow morning for 45 days as the Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) will build a covered walkway there, Transport Bureau (DSAT) Coordination Division chief Mok Soi Tou said yesterday during a press conference.
The press conference was jointly held by the two bureaus at the DSAT building.
Loi Seong San, a senior DSSOPT official, said that his bureau would build the covered walkway on the Big Taipa Hill side of the road so as to enhance pedestrian safety and provide a good pedestrian environment.
