Immigration Department officers discovered that a Filipino had two files in their database with two different identities when he was going through immigration formalities at the local airport on Tuesday, Public Security Police (PSP) spokeswoman Chong Sin I said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Chong, the suspect is a Filipino in his forties surnamed Manzano, who works as a driver. He had arrived from Manila just after midnight on Tuesday and when going through the facial recognition procedure immigration officers discovered that he had two identities in their database.
Manzano was stopped by PJ officers in a casino in 2010 when it was discovered that he had overstayed in Macau for over 400 days. He was deported to the Philippines and banned from entering the city for five years, Chong said.
