Two groups representing different community concern yesterday handed in their respective petitions addressed to Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On outside the Legislative Assembly in Nam Van yesterday afternoon.
A group of Seac Pai Van Coloane residents handed their petition to an official of the Legislative Assembly (AL) about their concerns over the government’s plan to build two hazardous materials warehouses near the Seac Pai Van housing estate.
The about a dozen petitioners handed in their petition before Chui’s Q&A session in the Legislative Assembly (AL). However, the petitioners did not meet him.
