The government considers proposing the relaunch of the points-based system for the allocation of subsidised home-ownership scheme (HOS) flats, in its ongoing drafting of a bill amending the current HOS law, Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On said yesterday.
Chui also said that the government expects to finish drafting the bill amending the current HOS law and then submitting it to the legislature for debate and vote by the end of this year.
Chui made the remarks when answering a question by grassroots lawmaker Au Kam San during a Q&A session in the legislature’s hemicycle yesterday.
