US actor, director and producer Nicolas Cage has been named as a “talent ambassador” of the 3rd Macau International Film Festival, which will be held in December, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) reported yesterday.
According to the report, Cage joins Hong Kong singer, actor and dancer Aaron Kwok Fu-shing as the festival’s “talent ambassadors” this year.
The report quoted unidentified organisers as saying that the pairing reflects this festival’s “ambition to bring together local and international industry professionals, to highlight East-meets-West culture and to introduce local audiences to the best in international cinema.”
