Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday the government hoped to turn the Macau Grand Prix into an “international brand”.
Tam made the remarks before attending a closed-door Grand Prix Organisation Committee (COGPM) meeting in the Grand Prix Building in Zape. Tam chairs the committee which yesterday held its first meeting following its recent reorganisation by the government.
Sports Bureau (ID) President Pun Weng Kun is the committee’s co-ordinator, while the bureau’s two vice-presidents are its deputy co-ordinators.
