The Judiciary Police (PJ) have arrested a local man who tried to sell a flat – which he didn’t own – to a woman, PJ spokesman Ho Chan Nam said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Ho, the suspect is 54-year-old surnamed Cheong who works as a driver, and the victim is a local woman whose surname was not revealed.
Ho didn’t reveal the location of the flat, but noted that the suspect had owned the flat until in 2008 – when he transferred the flat’s ownership to his daughter.
