The Hac Sá Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail will reopen today after the completion of restoration work, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) announced in a statement yesterday.
The coastal trail spans around 1,200 metres.
Multiple parts of the trail’s stone railings were severely damaged due to typhoons last year, prompting its temporary closure and restoration works, the statement said.
Now reopened, the statement noted that members of the public can again enjoy the trail, which extends from Rua de Hac Sá Long Chao Kok to Caminho do Quartel de Hac Sá or Rua Um dos Jardins de Cheoc Van, and admire rock formations as well as the ecology found along it.
