The local government announced yesterday that the Macau Unitary Police Service (SPU) will carry out a large-scale anti-terrorism exercise at the Macau East Asian Games Dome in Cotai tomorrow afternoon in collaboration with the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Macau Garrison.
According to a SPU statement yesterday, the exercise named “Spirited Dog” will simulate that a terrorist attack using chemical and radiological weapons occurs during a large-scale concert.
The exercise will simulate that terrorists have injured several people and a large number of people are taken hostage, according to the statement.
