Woman dragged along road by ex’s girlfriend dies

A car accident that occurred in the early morning of November 3 in Estrada Lou Lim Ieok in Taipa which involved a 28-year-old local woman who suffered a serious head injury after being dragged along the road by a car driven by her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend, died yesterday, according to a police statement.

The incident was initially classified by the Judiciary Police (PJ) as a case of causing serious injury to the physical integrity of a person.

In the early morning of November 3, an accident occurred outside a residential building in Taipa. When firefighters arrived at the scene, an injured female in her 20s was found there, bleeding from her back and nostrils. The woman was rushed to the public Conde S. Januário Hospital Centre. She was transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) at that time since she had sustained head injuries in the incident, according to the police.
