Up-and-coming local boxer Cheong Lap Cheong is taking his first shot at winning a belt at Wynn Place in Cotai today, hoping to start the New Year on a high.
Macao Boxing House’s Cheong will be fighting on the “Lifetime Boxing Fight 1” card at the Wynn Palace Grand Theatre this afternoon, an event co-sponsored by Macao Boxing House, Hong Kong’s DEF Promotions, Tokyo Broadcasting System TV (TBS), and Japan’s Watanabe Boxing Hall.
This is the first time that Japan has partnered with a local gym to put on a series of fights.
