A man from the mainland who allegedly attacked a policeman during a brawl over smoking in a non-smoking area on Thursday night has been remanded in custody, according to the Public Prosecution Office (MP).
Two male mainlanders allegedly involved in the case, which occurred in a no-smoking area in front of the Galaxy Macau casino-hotel resort in Cotai, were released on bail of 50,000 patacas each, according to an MP statement on Saturday.
The statement came after the policeman fired a warning shot outside Galaxy Macau’s Diamond Lobby shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday after the three men attacked him after he had told them to stop smoking in the outdoor but ceilinged no-smoking area
