A mainland woman arrested by the police on Wednesday evening in Areia Preta, where she lived, was a former colleague of the victim who had drain cleaner fluid thrown at her that same afternoon, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said during a special press conference on Friday.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon in an alley near Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues in Zape.
The suspect surnamed Zhou, a 54-year-old housewife, worked with the victim until two months ago, the spokesperson said.
