2 cars set on fire over money row: police

Two private cars were set alight at a residential car park in Taipa yesterday shortly after midnight, according to the Judiciary Police (PJ).

The owner of the two cars is believed to be involved in a financial dispute, the suspected motive for arson attack, according to a PJ statement yesterday.

The statement said the suspect believed to have set fire to the two cars parked in two different parking spaces in Block 9 of the luxury residential Star River Windsor Arch high-rise in Taipa is a Hong Kong resident.
