The Macau Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) said yesterday that it has approved 198 extra and charter flights due to the Chinese New Year holiday period’s increased demand.
According to an AACM statement, the additional CNY take-offs and touch-downs have been green-lighted for the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan.
The additional flights began on Monday last week and are slated to end on February 28, benefitting Air Macau, Juneyao Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, and East Asia Airlines.
