The Parisian Macau will be holding its second “Light the Night Run” on April 13 but this year it will be longer and more athletes will be able to participate, according to a press conference about the event last night at the foot of The Parisian’s half-size Eiffel Tower.

The launch runners on the sidelines of last year’s press conference about the event were boxer Ng Kuok Kun aka KK and triathlete Chi Wai Kuok who ran up the 750 steps to the 37th floor observation deck. This year was the turn of the ladies. Participants in last year’s event Wong San San, who came third and Leong Mei Na who came fourth were on hand yesterday to launch the 2019 “Light the Night Run”.

Sands China President Wilfred Wong Ying Wai opened the press conference by saying the first year was so successful that this year it would be held over two days, with more health and wellness activities, adding that the run would be more difficult.
