A crash between a school bus and a car at the junction of Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga and Rua de Silva Mendes on Friday morning injured seven people on the bus – five pupils, a teacher and a caretaker, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said.
The police said that they suspected the crash was due to the car failing to give way at the junction.
According to the Fire Services Bureau, the crash happened at around 10 a.m. on Friday at the junction where the neighbourhood’s landmark Bodhi nunnery – with a pair of stone lions in front of its entrance – is located.
