Two local residents have been infected with the rubella virus and both both work at City of Dreams in Cotai, a Health Bureau (SSM) statement said yesterday, raising the total number of rubella patients to 19 this year.
According to the statement, the two new patients are among the six cases of rubella patients from City of Dreams. Rubella is also known as German measles.
One of the latest patients is a 33-year-old woman, while the other is a 35-year-old man. They are both local residents, but both were born on the mainland and they do not know their vaccination records.
