Visitor arrivals rise 21.2 pct in 1Q: police

The Public Security Police (PSP) announced in a statement yesterday that they recorded 10.35 million visitor arrivals in the first quarter, a “large” year-on-year increase of 21.2 percent.

The police recorded 48.4 million entries and exits at all the city’s border checkpoints in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 12.6 percent, the statement said.

Macau has eight border checkpoints.
