A 90-year-old local man was seriously injured after being hit by a scooter yesterday when he was on a zebra crossing in Avenida do Coronel Mesquita, the Public Security Police (PSP) said.
The scooter rider, who is in his sixties, was not injured. He passed a breathalyser test, the police said.
According to the police, the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. when the scooter hit the man as he was walking across the zebra crossing outside Colégio Dom Bosco (Yuet Wah) in the thoroughfare.
