Energy Sector Development Office (GDSE) Director Hoi Chi Leong said yesterday that the government has requested that at least 40 percent of the energy supplied to Macau from the mainland be clean energy.
Hoi made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of yesterday’s Energy Saving Week launch ceremony in Praça do Lago Sai Van.
The annual event organised by the office aims to raise residents’ energy-saving awareness by holding various activities throughout the week.
