The Macau News Media Development Association launched a contest named “Chinese Dream, Homeland Ties” at Hotel Beverly Plaza yesterday.

A statement provided by the association said that they hoped to receive photographs or literary work promoting the close ties between the mainland and Macau.

Huang Yiqun, who heads the association, said in his opening speech that “to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macau’s return of the motherland, the group decided to launch the multimedia contest. We aim to gather local stories about loving Macau and loving the country.”
