A high-profile protester widely known in Cantonese as “the Man in Red”, Hoi Weng Chong, petitioned the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) yesterday, urging the anti-graft agency to investigate the impartiality of the Electoral Affairs Commission for the Chief Executive Election.

Hoi handed in a letter about his concerns about the fairness of the upcoming chief executive election to a CCAC representative at Dynasty Plaza in Nape yesterday afternoon.

Hoi told reporters about his petition and further plans to run for the city’s top job outside Dynasty Plaza, where the CCAC is headquartered.
