Four Macau residents who live in Hengqin received the first batch of Zhuhai’s basic medical insurance cards for Macau people yesterday, according to local Chinese-language media reports.
The family of four received their cards from Hengqin New Area Management Committee Director Niu Jing during the “Macau Residents’ Participation in Zhuhai’s Basic Medical Insurance Card Issuing Ceremony” at a public administration building in Hengqin yesterday, the reports said.
According to the reports, between Monday and Wednesday this week 26 Macau residents applied for the basic medical insurance cards. The reports said 310 Macau residents were holding mainland residence permits allowing them to live in Hengqin.
