A tourist was arrested on Tuesday for taking 11 sneak videos of females in public areas in Macau and on the mainland, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Ho Ka Kit said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Ho, the 36-year-old suspect is surnamed Fu. He told the police that he works as an engineer on the mainland. The victim who reported the case to the police is a local resident in her thirties. Her personal information was not released. There were at least three victims in Macau, Ho said, but did not reveal the number of victims of Fu’s sneak videos on the mainland.
According to Ho, the incident reported to the police happened at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim was walking work through a pedestrian subway in Avenida da Amizade in Zape when she suddenly felt something touching her legs from behind. When she turned around, she saw a man holding a mobile phone who appeared to be taking upskirt videos.
