This year’s “East Asia Super League – The Terrific 12” basketball tournament will see a dozen professional teams from mainland China, Japan, the Philippines and South Korea battle it out at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion in September, and tickets for the games are on sale now.
The tournament will take place from September 17 to 22, the event’s co-organisers – the Sports Bureau (ID) and the Asia Basketball League – announced in a press conference at the bureau yesterday.
ID President Pun Weng Kun said that the basketball teams were “the best” in East Asia, adding that the tournament would foster more interaction between the region’s basketball playing nations and further facilitate the growth of basketball across East Asia.
