Martial art practitioners showed off their skills yesterday, kicking off the city’s four-day Wushu Masters Challenge.
The Wushu Masters Challenge 2019, co-hosted by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and Cultural Industries Fund, opened at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion yesterday, according to a statement by the three co-organisers.
The Wushu Masters Challenge highlights three main categories of wushu (“martial arts”), namely Dragon and Lion Dance, Taolu and Sanda, with tournaments in these categories taking place at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, and activities in Praça do Tap Seac and Iao Hon Market Park, from today until Sunday.
