The average price per square metre of usable area of existing residential units rose 9.7 percent quarter-to-quarter to 105,575 patacas in the second quarter, on account of an increase of 13.7 percentage points in the proportion of higher-priced new residential buildings built within five years, which reached 27.8 percent of the total, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced.
According to a DSEC statement on Friday, the average price per square metre of pre-sale residential units grew 3.2 percent quarter-to-quarter to 136,022 patacas.
The average price per square metre of industrial units increased 7.5 percent quarter-to-quarter to 55,488 patacas, while that of office units rose 0.4 percent to 102,390 patacas.
