Members of the Pearl Horizon Condominium Owners United Association petitioned the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) yesterday, urging the anti-graft body to investigate Secretary for Administration and Justice Sónia Chan Hoi Fan, who didn’t, according to the petition, keep her promise to put out an open tender for the plot where the ill-fated Pearl Horizon project is located.

The long-abandoned construction site is located near the Oriental Pearl roundabout, officially known as plot “P”.

The association’s president, Kou Meng Pok, handed the petition – which details his group’s claim that the government didn’t keep its promises about the tender for plot “P” – to a CCAC official outside Dynasty Plaza in Nape yesterday afternoon.
