Police bust 3 mainlanders for selling drugs

The Judiciary Police (PJ) on Tuesday night arrested three mainlanders for selling drugs, PJ spokesman Tam Weng Keong said during a special press briefing yesterday. 

Acting on a tip-off, PJ officers arrested a male and a female in Zape and Nan Van respectively, the spokesperson said, adding that the man, a 31-year-old surnamed Yang, was found in possession of 8.2 grammes of ketamine and a bogus mainland identity card, while 0.82 grammes of Ice was found on the woman, a 37-year-old surnamed Li. 

In a flat in Nam Van rented by the couple, the officers later arrested a third suspect, a 28-year-old man surnamed Luo, and found three Magu pills, 6.65 grammes of cannabis, 63.18 grammes of ketamine, 19.1 grammes of “Happy Powder”, 8.35 grammes of Ice and 41.1 grammes of  “Happy Tea”.
