A man in a mask with a 10-cm-long folding knife tried to rob a local woman at an ATM in the northern district on Tuesday, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokeswoman Lei Hon Nei said during a regular press conference yesterday.
The spokeswoman did not reveal the personal information of the victim nor the suspect.
According to Lei, the incident happened at a bank in Estrada da Areia Preta at about 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim reported the case right after the incident, the spokeswoman said.
