The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Thursday for robbing three prostitutes in a single day earlier last week, PJ spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a special press conference on Friday.
Lai identified the suspect as a 27-year-old surnamed Wong who told the police that he works as a commercial driver.
The first victim, a mainlander in her twenties, reported to the police on Tuesday night that a man had robbed her of two mobile phones worth a total of 8,300 yuan (8,500 patacas), Lai said.
