The Public Security Police (PSP) nabbed a woman on Sunday for driving under the influence (DUI) and evasion of legal responsibility when she drove into roadside barriers in Coloane and fled the scene, PSP spokesman Ho Ka Kit said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Ho, the suspect is a 32 year-old surnamed Chong who told the police that she is a businesswoman.
Ho said that Chong’s car crashed into roadside barriers on the pavement in Rotunda das Palmeiras in Colane at about 4 a.m. on Sunday. The case was reported by police officers who happened to be on patrol nearby.
