Beijing-based China Institute of Industrial Relations Associate Professor Chen Jianfeng said yesterday there should be channels in place in Macau for employees to improve their working conditions and to be able to be engaged in decent work.

The institute comes under All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), decent work involves opportunities for work that is productive and delivers a fair income, security in the workplace and social protection for families, as well as better prospects for personal development and social integration.
