Traffic Consultative Council convener Kuok Keng Man said yesterday that a new coach terminus at the Barrier Gate checkpoint was expected to open in August.
Kuok talked to reporters after a closed-door meeting with government officials at the Transport Bureau (DSAT).
According to Kuok, government officials told the council during the meeting they believed the new terminus, to be located on the east side of the Barrier Gate square, will be ready in August.
