Wynn Palace Cotai is hosting the Grand Prix Carnival from today to Sunday on the lawn adjacent to the South Entrance of Wynn Palace, enabling residents and tourists to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of the Grand Prix.
A statement by the US resort operator said that the Grand Prix Carnival at Wynn Palace is open from noon to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a mini-racing track for kids, a grand racing-themed game booth, a themed photo booth, stage performances, gourmet food and themed cultural and creative retail activities. The statement added that there is also a special zero-distance racing display zone and real-time broadcasts of the races, enabling the audience to feel the excitement of the Grand Prix up close.
Wynn Macau Executive Director Linda Chen Chih-Ling said in the statement she hoped that the Grand Prix Carnival can create an atmosphere of mutual enjoyment by synergising with the Grand Prix, introducing more positive energy into society amid the pandemic. She also pointed that the carnival not only provides opportunities for parents to spend time with their children, but also enables children to learn about the Macau Grand Prix and the city’s sports history at an early age.
The statement said that as the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Macau further eases, Wynn hopes that the event will further energise the diversified development of Macau’s sports and tourism industries.
The statement noted that admission is free to the event, with the public able to register online for an appointment (https://bit.ly/3kkwuoQ) and choose a time slot to enter the event within a limited quota, adding that a small quota of walk-in spaces will also be available to enable visitors to join the fun.
Wynn Palace COTAI reminds participants that the event strictly abides by various COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures, and they must have their temperature checked, wear facemasks, and present their Macau Health Code before entering the carnival.
