The Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said in a statement yesterday that the temperature is expected to plummet to 8° Celsius on Monday.
According to the statement, a winter monsoon is forecast to start affecting Macau on Christmas Day and the weather will become cloudy and rainy. The statement pointed out that the northerly winds will intensify so the mercury will nosedive.
The statement also said that the weather is going to be wet and cold early next week, urging the public to pay attention to the weather forecast and keep warm.
