The Bus Travelling System app launched by the Transport Bureau (DSAT) has optimised its functions so that it now provides route suggestions to landmarks or tourist destinations, the bureau said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, in order to satisfy different people’s needs, the bureau continues to optimise the app. The statement noted that last Monday the app added a tourist hotspot search and started to provide route suggestions. The statement also said that through clicking on the map or inserting a tourist destination’s name, it will provide a route that aims to enhance one’s travel experience.
The bureau urged users to update their apps in order to use the new functions. The statement pointed out that the bureau has listened to public opinion and installed over 50 electronic bus stop flags showing when the next bus will arrive.
