Representatives of the local tourism sector have told the local media that Macau’s tourism performance during the five-day mainland holiday period was better than they had expected.
According to local media reports, during the five-day holiday period shops and other business outlets in and around local major tourist attractions have reported revenues that returned to or were even better than the level recorded in the pre-pandemic year of 2019.
