Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario said yesterday the government had decided to add one more deputy director to the Infrastructure Development Office (GDI) to cope with the heavy workload.
According to the Official Gazette (BO) on Monday, Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On announced in an executive order that the office will be led by a director with the assistance of two deputy directors.
The office was set up in 2000 as a “project team” for two years, which then was led by one director and one deputy director. Since then, the operation of the office has been extended several times.
