The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a man from the mainland yesterday on suspicion of attempted robbery in which he and another man tried to rob a couple on the staircase of a residential building in Iao Hon district on Tuesday.
According to the Judiciary Police, the couple fought the men off and the two robbers ran away empty handed.
PJ spokeswoman Lei Hong Nei announced the case yesterday near the crime scene.
