Galaxy Macau, StarWorld Hotel and Broadway Macau in Cotai are set to host a raft of festive activities and offers for the Chinese New Year (CNY), according to a statement from the integrated resort (IR) operator on Thursday.
The “New Year Getaway Spectacular Offer” starts from 638 patacas per night, and enables guests to immerse themselves in five-star indulgence at Andaz Macau or Broadway Hotel, the statement said, with official site members able to enjoy instant savings.
Meanwhile, the Crystal Lobby in Galaxy Macau features a 30-metre-long Chinese-style New Year mural crafted by a Chinese artist, according to the statement, and is presented on an LED wall. The Diamond Lobby also features festive-themed decorations that are elements rooted in Chinese culture, the statement said.
At the StarWorld Hotel lobby, the statement added that a “Treasure Bowl” is the centrepiece that symbolises prosperity and wealth. It is adorned with peach blossoms and coin strings, along with a large paper-cut of the Chinese character “Chun” (“Spring”).
Moreover, Galaxy Macau will host the Chinese New Year Market from January 26 to February 8 in its East Square, with the indoor market to feature over a thousand types of CNY goods and gifts, the statement said. Single purchases of over 500 patacas will qualify for giveaway games, offering a chance to win prizes totalling over 388,888 patacas.
Dining offers are also available across Galaxy Macau’s 120 dining options. These include a reunion dinner at Banyan Tree Macau from February 8 to 9, and the “Rising Fortune Chinese New Year Buffet” from February 11-14, the statement noted. A highlight is a collaboration between Tang Tat-chi, the 26th generation descendant of the Tang Clan in Ping Shan, Yuen Long, Hong Kong, and the heritage expert of the Wai Tsuen culture, with eight celebrity chefs across the integrated resorts to present eight types of Poon Choi
The statement added that Michelin two-star Feng Wei Ju at StarWorld Hotel also offers auspicious CNY dishes while Broadway Macau features Authentic Hotpot Festival, and dinner sets for Valentine’s Day
Moreover, award-winning Banyan Tree Spa Macau offers spa experiences for guests, while at Galaxy Promenade, which has over 200 luxury brands, limited-time shopping rewards are available for guests visiting during the CNY holiday, according to the statement.
The first-ever SamSam by Kenny Wong (王信明) pop-up store, a well-known artist, is also set to open, with the artist set make an appearance to launch new limited collections.
A plethora of entertainment options are also offered by the integrated resort operator, the statement said.
