The DFS’ Masters Series: Jewellery & Watches exhibition has recently made its Macau debut at DFS Macau in the Shoppes at Four Seasons, showcasing French luxury-goods conglomerate Cartier’s timepieces and jewellery.
On until December 20, the exhibition showcases “a remarkable array of exceptional masterpieces that exemplify the Maison’s refined craftsmanship and visionary creativity,” a recent Cartier Hong Kong statement noted.
Timepieces from the Cartier Collection, the statement said, are featured, retracing the company’s history “through a chronology of watches that have inspired modern watchmaking”.
The collections on display have been categorised into different themes. These include the 150th Cartier Anniversary watches, which feature timepieces that mark Cartier’s “impressive legacy via inspired iterations of the Maison’s most easily recognisable timepieces”; Creative Shapes, meanwhile, features timepieces such as the classic oval-shaped Baignoire de Cartier and the “avant-garde” designs of Tank Crash and Tank Folle wristwatches; and others themes including Métiers d’Art, Fine Watchmaking, and collections including Tortue, Santos and Tank.
Moreover, a selection of Cartier’s “High Jewellery” and “Fine Jewellery” creations are also showcased.
