Concerning the case of someone “falling” from a building on Rua Nova à Guia (東望洋新街), the Public Security Police (PSP) confirmed last night with the Post that the victim is a 16-year-old female student.
According to a PSP spokeswoman, the Public Security Police responded to the case at 3:30 p.m. at Santa Rosa de Lima Secondary School, where the girl “fell” from the building and was rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for emergency treatment. The spokeswoman told the Post by phone that the victim who had sustained a swollen left eye and bleeding from her nose and mouth, remained conscious when she was admitted to the hospital.
Concerning a rumour on social media platforms that some parents had pointed out in a chat group that another student from the same school had committed suicide by cutting her wrists also yesterday, the Public Security Police said they had not received any such report.
