Two Malaysian men were arrested for using bogus credit cards in Macau, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.

According to the spokesperson, one of the suspects, surnamed Liew, is 24 years old while the other suspect, surnamed Koh is aged 25.

Liew and Koh are members of a counterfeit credit card gang in Malaysia, according to the spokesperson. The duo were paid 10 percent of the total retail value of the goods they bought with the cards. Both suspects told the police that they committed the crimes since they wanted the ill-gotten gains to pay off their debts.
